SM Bites sits on Broadway in Placerville — a modest storefront you could easily drive past. Don't.

I ordered the Taquito Dorados — the food is hot, flavorful, and made with real ingredients. You definitely have a new customer. Thank you for making my food at the last minute!

I think this is one of the best taquerias in town. They have the best salsa and tostadas, and they sometimes have chicarron tacos. Totally willing to make vegetarian things as well even though they aren't on the menu, just ask. Only open M-F until about 6 so go for lunch!

Awesome little taqueria! The staff is super friendly and they have a great selection of tacos. Bonus points for having chicharrones tacos. They have some really good non-taco options as well, highlights include their tostadas and the takilocos!

Holy moly, probably the best Mexican food I've had in CA since we moved to San Diego in 2010 (now in Nor Cal). Hints of flavors I've only had in Central and Southern Mexico, I was in heaven. I want to eat here all the time.
